Bridge over troubled water…
After spending about 10 days in the back of the truck I finally moved the bridge I made back over Rapin creek, in the back yard. With the massive rains about two weeks ago came flooding which over-ran the banks and carried the 100+ pound bridge about 4 houses down the road. I seem to be away from home every time there is bad weather and this time was no exception - I was in the upper peninsula building the ultimate hunting camp. Holly was stressing out thinking I would be mad the bridge was gone, but she worked hard to find it before I got home so it was just a matter of getting it dislodged from it landing spot - Holly helped me lug it all the way back to the road/truck like a champ where it “dried out” until today.
Speaking of the hunting camp:

Last time we were up there we insulated and drywalled, installed the windows and then the steel roof. We’re heading back up next weekend to finish the interior and hopefully get a coat of paint on before winter. Its been a while since I’ve had a construction project to assist with so this has been fun. More pics to come.
